Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in cloud infrastructure to design, build, and maintain our robust and secure healthcare platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, a strong background in software development, and a passion for building scalable and reliable systems within the healthcare domain.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS or Azure, adhering to HIPAA and other relevant healthcare compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud-based data storage and processing solutions for healthcare data.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and data pipelines.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance, with a focus on patient data security.
• Develop and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance standards, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services relevant to the healthcare industry.
• Document system architectures, operational procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on software development.
• Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking, security, and data storage concepts, with a focus on healthcare data.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance and other relevant healthcare regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).
• Experience with database technologies relevant to healthcare.
• Experience with log aggregation and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
